About Us: National Radiotherapy Oncology and Nuclear Medicine Centre
The National Radiotherapy Oncology and Nuclear Medicine Centre is a Clinical Department of Korle Bu Teaching Hospital and a Centre of Excellence.
Our main pre-occupation is to manage solid tumours and some benign tumours with ionizing radiation, chemotherapy and radio nuclides. The centre was established in 1997.
Our workforce consists of seasoned Oncologists, Medical Physicists, Oncology Nurses, Nuclear Medicine Physicians, Radiation Therapy Technologists, Biomedical engineers, Clinical Psychologist, Bio Statisticians, Health Informaticists and other administrative staff.
Approximately 1500 patients from various parts of the country and the sub-region are seen yearly.
The National Radiotherapy Oncology and Nuclear Medicine Centre provide comprehensive cancer care supported by advanced technology, innovative techniques and evidence-based medicine.
We also undertake researches and affiliated to the University of Ghana, Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons, Ghana College of Nurses and Midwives, Ghana College of Pharmacy and School of Biomedical and Allied Health Sciences.

To provide safe, efficient and holistic care which enhances quality of life, prolong survival and above all improve condition of patients in Ghana and the sub-region.
