The National Radiotherapy Oncology and Nuclear Medicine Centre has a well-coordinated and highly structured chemotherapy administration system. The Centre has an on-site pharmacy that stocks chemotherapeutic agents procured from accredited pharmaceutical companies that have been certified by Ghana Food and Drugs Authority (FDA).
Our Pharmacy is managed by well-trained pharmacists who follow specific safety procedures in the preparation and administration of chemotherapy. The use of a laminar flow in drug preparation ensures strict adherence to infection and occupational safety protocol.
We understand the difficult patient experience of cancer diagnosis and treatment, and therefore provide a warm ambience for short stay in our chemotherapy suites.
